Amanda Gorman is an American (born and raised in LA!) poet and activist who mainly writes about oppression, racial issues, feminism and marginalisation. Beginning 2021, she made history, being the youngest inaugural poet in US history at the age of 22. Since then, she has become a role-model and a great source of inspiration for many people… and me! When I saw her for the first time, I was captivated by her charisma and the light she radiated, and I felt the urge to translate those feelings on the canvas. 

Amanda is part of the “Strong Women” series, a collection of paintings showing women from various periods and backgrounds, who all have in common their contribution in changing the world thanks to their achievements and unique personalities.

The painting will arrive ready to display. The sides (3/4" depth) are in continuity with the painting, as an extension of the patterns, which leaves you free to frame it or not. Signature, date and painting title on the back.

It is sealed with a satin varnish to protect against dust and UV light. All photos capture the colours and details as closely as possible, but there may be slight variances between photos and actual painting.

Painting will be ready to be shipped within 5-7 business days after purchase.
